Getting Around Cape Verde

By news desk on July 19,2007

image

By Air
There are internal flights between all the islands (except Brava and San Antao) with daily flights between Praia, Mindelo and Sal.

By Road
On the islands, buses and trucks ply and you can hitch a ride with them. Make sure you decide the cost of the ride before setting off. Taxis exist, but they are quite expensive and not always readily available.

By Sea
There is a reasonably good network of boats with fairly regular schedules that connect the islands. A ferry service plies between Praia and the islands of Brava and Fogo.
