Best Time To Visit Congo Republic

As it rains fairly heavily and constantly during the rainy season from October to May, the weather tends towards the warm, wet and humid. This is most certainly not a good time for a visit to the Congo – not just is the heat and humidity extremely enervating, the roads are inundated, the animals are safely ensconced in the dense foliage and the mosquitoes alone are prolific and certainly make their presence felt. The drier spell comes after the rains – between June and August and then again for a short while in December. This then is the best time to foray forth into the Republic of Congo.
