The nations whose citizens do not require a visa are—all Commonwealth countries (excluding Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and UK), Denmark, Ethiopia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Uruguay. Those visitors who do not require a visa are issued a visitor’s pass on arrival and this is valid for up to six months. The cost of a three-month visa is roughly US$30, though this can change. Visas are valid for a period of three months from the date of issue.

Important Kenyan visa applications in Tanzania and Uganda are an easy procedure, and you can pay for these in local currency. Nairobi is also a good place to pick up visas for other countries, especially those in East Africa, since Nairobi city center is well connected and accessible. Please note that transit visas are issued at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, but are definitely not renewable. If your visa remains valid for the entire period of travel, then visas are not required to re-enter Kenya when you travel from Kenya to Tanzania or Uganda.

Always worth checking for updated visa requirements prior to travel.
