Best Time To Visit Lesotho

By news desk on July 31,2007

image
The climate of Lesotho is temperate with well-marked seasons. It is important to remember that the country is in the southern hemisphere and winter is from May to July while summer is from October to March. Lesotho is a land of clear blue skies and about 300 days of sunshine in a year. It is hottest in January and February when the mercury soars to about 35°C in the lowlands in the daytime but can remain pleasantly at about 25°C in the highlands. If you don’t mind getting a little wet once in a while, then the best time to go is during the months of October and April, when the highlands are still accessible and not snowbound.
