Monrovia Entertainment Guide

By news desk on August 01,2007

Most restaurants in the capital serve European, American and Italian dishes. The most filling option is the three course meals dished up in hotels at mid-range and top-end prices. Slightly cheaper are the supermarkets that have good and abundant chop bars, which serve the famous West African side dish ‘fufu’ along with dried fish. They also serve international cuisine, mainly from the United States for a little over a dollar.

For the swingers and hip-shakers, Monrovia has clubs and discos that offer some good African and foreign top of the charts. The entrance charge into one of these hot spots is US$4 or more and drinks come separately. But most of these places are willing to negotiate on that US$4 entrance fee so give it a try if you ever end up in Monrovia.
