By news desk on August 22,2007

Liwonde National Park, the Nyika National Park, Lake Malawi National Park, Kasungu National Park, Lengwe National Park and Nkhotakota Game Reserve are just a few of the many conservation areas in Malawi.

These parks are home to elephants, lions, leopard, hippos and other birds and animals native to the area. Most parks have well developed tourism infrastructure making transportation, boarding and lodging easy and convenient.

The Nyika National Park has more than 200 species of bird flock in an area of varied vegetation that houses about 120 species of orchids and wildflowers. The best time for game viewing and bird watching in most of the National Parks is between August and November.
