In order for you to enter Zambia you need to have a valid passport, a visa, funds for your stay and a return ticket. If you are looking towards extending your stay in Zambia, apply for an extension at the nearest immigration office. The request should be made before the time given to you to stay in the country expires. Passport photocopies should accompany your application, the status of your host and a letter from him/her. The accompanying documents should be certified copies of the original. Visitors who require visas to enter Zambia and would like to visit neighbouring countries are entitled to re-entry visas valid for 7-days only. Re-entry visas can be obtained from internal offices and not the border post.
