Annual Events In Zimbabwe

The Zimbabwe Agricultural Society Show is held at the Harare show grounds around the end of August, and the Houses of Stone Music Festival takes place in Harare on a different date every year. In September/October, there is a festival of traditional song and dance in Harare. The Zimbabwe National Jazz Festival takes place between September to November. On 18 April, Independence Day festivities take place around the country. Africa Day is held in late may and commemorates past independence struggles. 11 and 12 August – the Zimbabwean military forces and heroes of the independence movement are honoured. The Zimbabwe Travel Expo is held in mid-February.
