Postal services are fairly efficient and prompt. There are no area codes and you can just punch a local number from any one of the coin – operated phone booths. For international calls, you need to dial an international code (except for USA, which is direct dial.

A 15% tip is expected if no service charge has been added to the bill.

English Language Media

The daily news and St. Croix Avis are two local newspapers. The Friday edition of the Daily News includes a listing of restaurants, nightclubs and special events.
