By news desk on June 29,2007

Car Rental
Driving around is one way to tour the Islands, though in the crowded market places you’ll realize walking is much faster. In the countryside, watch out for donkeys and goats that happen to think that paved roads are meant for them. Remember to drive on the left and fasten the seat belt. There are various car rental facilities all over St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John.

By Taxis
Turn a corner and a cab driver will ask you where you want to go. Rates are fixed which saves you and the taxi driver an argument.

By Public Transport
You can avail of the usually slow – moving public transport system of St. Croix and St. Thomas.

Island Hopping

By sea
There are frequent ferry services between St. Thomas and St. John. If you’re looking for a more luxurious and casual pace, you can hire a yacht.

By Air
If you don’t want to waste too much time, you have the option of flying between St. Thomas and St. Croix, a journey that takes all of 20 minutes.
