There are restaurants for every budget and mood. Most places offer an extensive menu, offering a variety of cuisines.

Nightlife is concentrated in the major cities and towns. The choice is watching a movie, dancing the night away in a discotheque, potting a ball or two on a pool table or sipping a drink at a bar. Most discotheques and bars are open through the night. In the more rural areas, the maximum you can expect is a bar or two. Also, everything winds up by around 12 pm.

Shopping

Compared to it's neighbours, Honduras is not really a crafts producing country. Ofcourse you will be able to pick up some souvenirs in the shops in Copan. The local handicrafts include wooden items, leather goods and woven baskets. Panama hats and Honduran cigars are other items you may be interested in.
