Getting Around Seoul: Transport Guide

By news desk on October 25,2007

One of the main reasons for Seoul’s popularity with tourists is that it’s got a good transportation system - which makes it easy to get from one attraction to the next. The easiest way to move around is to hire a car- there are a number car rental companies in the city you can approach. Alternatively, you could use public transport- Seoul’s subway is fast, efficient and with an excellent network (it’s also the eighth largest in the world). There’s also a good bus system, but you must keep in mind the fact that signs and routes are often only in the local Hangul script; you might not find any English signs around.
