Getting Around Tirana

Tirana has a fairly good bus network, which is reliable enough and covers much of the city. However, if you want to be on your own, hiring a car is a good idea. Tirana has a few car rental agencies, or you can get your travel agent or your hotel to make arrangements. Alternatively, you can use the city’s taxi service; but keep in mind the fact that most of the cab drivers do not understand English, and meters may often be faulty or broken.
