Tirana Hotel Accommodation Guide

By news desk on January 14,2008

Formerly, the only hotels you would find in Tirana were the state-owned ones run by Albturist. However, in the past few years, with democracy coming into the country, there’s been a lot of privatisation, and you’ll today find a number of privately owned hotels too. Larger properties like the Drini, Peza, Dajti, and Tirana Hotels have most of the luxuries Western tourists are used to- and comparable tariffs as well. There are economy and mid-range hotels, inns and private rented apartments too, but their number is limited. As far as accommodation is concerned, it’s a good idea to get a travel agent to find something suitable- and book rooms well in advance.
