Winters in Kiev are too cold for most visitors, except those who like snow and icy breezes, so summer or spring is the best bet. Spring, in fact, is the ideal time to plan a trip to the city- that’s when the weather’s beautiful, and the parks and gardens of Kiev are in full bloom. If you can’t make it in spring, summer’s not too bad, either, but has a lot more rain.
