Climatic Overview Of Kiev

Kiev’s climate is continental, characterised by warm summers and mild winters (or at least mild compared to the rest of Ukraine!). Average temperatures in January dip to about -6ºC, while the hottest month, July, has temperatures going up to about 19ºC. Precipitation averages about 600 mm annually, and occurs mainly during the summer.
