Andorra: Tourist Health And Safety Guide

By news desk on October 11,2007

Andorra offers no particular health risks to the traveller, but if you’re going in the winter, you should obviously go well equipped to handle snow and cold. The authorities do not require any specific vaccinations, except yellow fever, and that too if you’re coming from an infected zone. Healthcare facilities are quite comprehensive and adequate, so you needn’t worry even if you do fall ill.

Andorra’s a safe country; violent crime is low, and although petty theft is not unknown, you can avoid being a victim by taking a few simple precautions. Make sure that your valuables are kept under lock and key; don’t display your wealth; and keep an eye- and a firm grip- on your wallet, especially when moving through crowded areas.
