Getting Around Antwerp: Transport Guide

By news desk on October 04,2007

Hiring taxis and cars from one of the local car rental agencies is one of the most convenient ways of seeing the city. Taking a boat plying on the Schelde, is another interesting way of getting around. The public transport system, a combination of buses and trams traverses the city and its suburbs. The trams are efficient, especially in the downtown area. For more information, as well as maps of the transport system, visit the Transport Information Office located at the Diamant underground station. Discounted tourist travel passes and ten-trip tickets known as the Rittenkaart are available here.
