Annual Events In Delft

Delft’s cultural calendar, especially during the summer months, is crowded with events, concerts, shows and performances of various kinds. Besides the many canal side concerts that take place throughout the year, the other main events include the annual De Koninck Blues Festival and the Carnival (in February), the Comic Fair and the Funfair (in April), the Delft Chamber Music Festival and the Delft Jazz & Blues Festival (in August). In September the city hosts the Delft Tattoo, the Delft Music Weekend, and the Autumn Funfair, and even in the deep of winter, Delft has a `Dark Days of Delft’ festival; it’s followed by illuminations across the city on the 18th of December.
