How To Reach Lisbon

By news desk on January 18,2008

image

By air
Lisbon has the main international airport in Portugal, the Portela Airport, serviced by TAP and other major world airlines. To get to the city centre, a twenty minute drive away, take the Aerobus which runs a regular service from 7am-9pm. Taxis are also cheap. If you want to be independent, then rent a car at the airport desk or even before you reach through a car rental company.

By train
Lisbon’s new and stupendous Oriente Station has trains coming from Madrid and Paris, and continuing onto the older Santa Apolonia.

By bus
International buses arrive regularly at the city’s main bus terminal, as well as at the Renex bus terminal – a short bus ride away from Praca dos Restauradores. Most of the buses coming here start at the north or the Algrave.
