By news desk on July 02,2007

International cuisine is available in restaurants at all prices and rates. Customary eating hours are breakfast from 7 am to 9 am; lunch from 12 noon to 2 pm; and dinner from 9.30 pm to 12 midnight. The most popular restaurants are Arabic, Chinese, Indian, Continental, Italian and Lebanese. You can also eat at the Filipino, Spanish, Mexican, American, Turkish and Thai joints. Indian and Pakistani food is the cheapest. There are plenty of up market restaurants.

Cinema Halls show Indian and western films. There are plenty of bars and a Disco too. Occasionally a lot of live entertainment is available when western rock stars drop in for performances. The five star hotels regularly bring theatre companies from UK for a few runs. Bahrain’s nightlife is limited to bars and lounges in the bigger hotels. Many establishments have different themes for each night of the week.
