Manama Entertainment Guide

There is really no such thing as Bahraini food.  International cuisine is available in the many cosmopolitan restaurants in Manama. The most popular restaurants are Arabic, Chinese, Indian, Continental, Italian and Lebanese. You can also eat at the Filipino, Spanish, Mexican, American, Turkish and Thai joints. Indian and Pakistani food is the cheapest. There are plenty of up market restaurants in this city.  

Manama's nightlife is limited to bars and lounges in the bigger hotels. Many establishments have different themes for each night of the week. Sometimes, a lot of live entertainment is available when western rock stars drop in for a performance. The five star hotels regularly bring theatre companies from UK for a few runs.
