International cuisine is available at the many cafes, and of course the hotels have some really good restaurants. For fresh fruit head to Carmel Market.

The nightlife in Tel Aviv is hot: there are parties at outdoor restaurants, pubs and cafes. If culture is what you are seeking, Tel Aviv is the home of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and there are several venues which regularly stage performances of dance, music and drama. Outdoor rock and pop concerts are held in the HaYarkon Park in summer. Many travelers’ bars offer live music with local blues and rock bands playing every night.Tel Aviv has more than 40 movie halls. There are plenty of discotheques, highbrow concert halls and world-class theatres. You can attend the opera, ballet, theatre, jazz, classical music and dance performances in this lively city.

Visit Shuk HaCarmel (Camel Market), the Craft market on Nahalat Binyamin Street and the Dizengoff Centre, which is a vast shopping center. Shopping hours are 8.30 am to 7 pm, though some stay open till 10 pm. Most stores stay open late on Thursday night and almost all close on Friday by 2 pm. Saturdays are holidays for all.
