Tourist Attractions In Qatar

By news desk on July 06,2007

If you are in the capital city of Doha, take time out to see the mix of traditional Arabic and modern architecture in the Grand Mosque and the Abu Bakir al Siddiq Mosque.

The National Museum is well catalogued and will trace the history of the country for you. In the modern part of the town, you will come across the New Amir’s Palace and the Clock Tower.
Some uncrowded beaches such as Umm Bab, Dukhan and Salwah (near the Saudi Border); Fuwairat (on the north east coast) and Ras Abruk (opposite Hawar Island) make Qatar a great holiday destination.
