Famous Beaches In Rhode Island: An Insight

Conimicut Point Beach : This recreation area has saltwater swimming, fishing spots, a playground, and wonderful views of Narragansett Bay. The point is a sandy spit jutting out into Narragansett Bay toward Conimicut Lighthouse. On the south side of the point is a sandy beach ideal for sunbathing.

Kings Park Beach : King Park overlooks Newport Harbor, the Pell (Newport) Bridge, and Goat Island. This scenic location offers a beach, playground, pavilion, Harbor Walk, Rochambeau Statue, and the King park Gazebo.

Misquamicut State Beach : One of the state's most popular beaches with over a half mile of beach front. There are also many local attractions for children. This modern pavilion includes many new concepts.

Sachuset Town Beach : Sachuset town beach is a nature beach one-and-a-quarter miles long with sand dunes. Excellent swimming conditions and majestic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Activities include beach combing, body surfing, volleyball and sandcastle building.
