By news desk on September 19,2007

Explore this magnificent land any which way you please.

By Car
England has an excellent road and motorway network , well connected and running the length of the country. Renting a car and cruising along the countryside is a great idea. Britain is a left drive country, and you must remember to put on that seat belt as well.

To rent a car you need an International Driver's License or your current driver's license valid for 12 months. Also, most car rentals will not rent out to you if you are under 21 or 25 years of age. Parking can present a problem in London and other big cities, and meter parking is hard to find and expensive. Illegal parking can get your car towed and can lead to heavy fines.

By Train
Britain by train is a most enjoyable and comfortable way to see the country sights. Standards are high, and cleanliness and punctuality can be expected at all times. For travel between major cities and towns, you can use the Inter-City travel network. Bookings are necessary during peak seasons and public holidays. Standard Class is about 50% cheaper than First. Rail tickets can be bought at stations or through rail travel agents.

By Coach
Another relaxing and even adventurous way of exploring the country are Coach rides. Comfortable, modern and run by friendly guides who regale you with the history of places as you cruise by- this should be educational as well as fun. Contact the National Express Ltd. station in London at 808080. If you plan on using this mode of travel then the Tourist Trail Pass is convenient and economical.

By Air
If your need is speed then use the domestic airline network which is reliable and comfortable.
