England has an excellent road and motorway network , well connected and running the length of the country. Renting a car and cruising along the countryside is a great idea. Britain is a left drive country, and you must remember to put on that seat belt as well.

To rent a car you need an International Driver's License or your current driver's license valid for 12 months. Also, most car rentals will not rent out to you if you are under 21 or 25 years of age. Rail tickets can be bought at stations or through rail travel agents.
