Georgia Travel Document Guide

Citizens of CIS countries, Poland and Bulgaria do not need a visa for Georgia. They must have a passport valid for 6 months at least though. Travellers from countries besides these must get a tourist visa that is valid for one month from the Georgian embassy or consulate in their country. In addition they must also have their passports valid for at least 6 months and a return ticket. One could procure a visa at the airport in Tbilisi but it’s better not to wait till you’re already there, just in case your application gets turned down.

Standard single-entry tourist visas are valid for 3 months from date of issue. Businessmen and women travelling on work can apply for a 6-month visa.
