Getting Around Bali: Transport Guide

Denpasar is the main hub of all the transport systems in Bali, and if you need to go anywhere on the island, this is almost certainly the best place to start off from. There are cars, bicycles and motorbikes to be hired. You can contact one of the many car rentals on the island, and some hotels and resorts also rent out vehicles to guests. In addition, there are local buses that ply all over the island. Boats and ferries offer an exciting travel option along the coast. There are also taxis to be hired, and in a number of smaller places it’s the only alternative to hiring a vehicle.
