Sharjah Archaeological Museum takes you on a magic carpet back to primitive history. The Sharjah Science Museum has interactive exhibits and trained science instructors help you with them. The Sharjah Islamic Museum has some rare Islamic antiques on exhibition.  
 The Sharjah Heritage Area covers a restored souk, a museum, some traditional Arab family houses and the Al Hisn Fort. The King Faisal Mosque is the largest mosque in the country and has a seating capacity of 3000. The Old Watch Tower is an example of traditional architecture. The Sharjah Natural History Museum, 35 km away, is very famous for its Desert Park and the Arabian Wildlife Sanctuary.
