Fax, Telex and Telegraph facilities are available through the main telecommunication centre in Doha or through the business centre of any big hotel.
Tipping A service charge is usually added to restaurant bills but it goes to the management staff and not the waiting staff, so though local custom does not require that you leave a tip after your meal, but if you do it will be greatly appreciated. Bargaining is not common in Qatar, and you can only reduce a bit off the price of electronic goods, rental cars and hotel rooms. |
