Russian hotels serve a vast array of food ranging from fast food items like pizzas and burgers to proper European fares and of course Russian food. This would be high priced. If you are looking for cheaper food then try the cafeterias that serve buffets or kiosks. In Russia ballet, theatre, opera, classical, jazz and rock music and spectator sports are the most favoured entertainment activities. Kirov ballet at St. Petersburg, the Bolshoi at Moscow, the State Symphony Orchestra, the Russian National Symphony Orchestra and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, local rock, classical or jazz music performances, live theatre shows (the only way to see Chekov) and football or ice skating are the listings you can choose from. |
