The Spring Festival of Navruz or New Days is the biggest Central Asian holiday. It is an Islamic adaptation of pre Islamic vernal equinox or renewal celebrations as an official two day festival, with traditional games, music and drama festivals, street art and colourful fairs, and a lot of partying and social visiting.
