Best Time To Visit Mongolia

Mongolia is, most of the time, unbearably cold. The best season is the summer, between May and October, when it’s warm and you run comparatively little risk of frostbite, hypothermia and otherrelated ailments attributable to sub-zero temperatures. If you’re keen on visiting the Gobi Desert, time your trip for June or September (when the desert isn’t as hot as usual).

Keep in mind that much of Mongolia can be pretty wet between July and August; secondly, if you’re interested in cultural activities, you should try to go around July- that’s when the immensely popular 'Naadam’ festival is held.
