The climate is generally mild with the hottest spell during the midsummer months of June and July. The average temperatures rise to around 25° to 30° C during this time. Tokyo’s coldest months are November, December, January and February. A very enervating period for visitors not used to the high levels of humidity that reaches as high as 60 to 65% in the period between May and October as these months also receive the maximum rainfall.
