A traveller entering Cambodia is allowed to bring in 200 cigarettes (or an equivalent amount of tobacco or cigars), a bottle of alcohol and a `reasonable’ amount of perfume, free of customs duty. The usual `forbidden’ items- pornographic material, arms and ammunition, and narcotics- are not allowed into Cambodia. You can bring in as much foreign currency as you please into the country, but you’ll have to declare it on arrival. While leaving the country, remember that you’ll need an export permit to take any gemstones or religious antiques/artefacts that you may have bought in Cambodia. |
