Cebu is a tourist destination- and a popular one at that. Consequently, it’s got lots of places to eat. There are restaurants, food stalls, bars and eateries of every shape and size, and every budget too- scattered over the island. Many are attached to hotels and resorts, but some are stand-alone restaurants too. You’ll find a lot of local delicacies on sale, but also plenty of international cuisine- from Thai and Japanese to Chinese, German, Austrian and French. Rest assured you won’t go hungry!

Cebu’s hotels and beach resorts usually have some form of entertainment or the other to offer- there are regular cultural performances in the form of dance and music by local artistes (the guitars made in Cebu are among the very best, and you should be able to see them being played at some venue or the other). If you’re lucky- or if you plan your trip well- you might even see a fiesta while you’re in Cebu- and that will involve some of the best native dances, music and processions the island has to offer.

Other than cultural performances, you can also get a dose of the usual 'nightlife’ in Cebu- bars, discos, nightclubs, and so forth, most of which are in hotels and resorts. For those who love the great outdoors, there’s plenty of scope for trekking, hiking and water sports.
