Warsaw Hotel Accommodation Guide

Warsaw may be the city of bygone splendor, but some of its deluxe hotels still seem to be living in the golden age of the past. This has particularly been the case since the beginning of privatization, when many world class chains and renovated castles and hotels have begun to provide some plush accommodation and royal service. If you can dish out the dough, enjoy this Polish plushness while you can – it pretty much ends once you step out of the city. If you are a budget traveller, do not despair: cheap places to stay are scattered throughout the city. They may sometimes be a little far from downtown and not exactly rich in style and atmosphere, but still make for inexpensive and basic but clean living. The university area has a couple of good hostels, and private rooms are available through agencies (there is an information agency near the Royal Castle which will assist you with this ). With the cheaper accommodations, you should think about booking in advance. You can get a budget room for as little as 30 or 40 zt– less than US$ 10 a night sometimes. But for bigger and better things, you ‘d have to dish out anything upto US$ 100 a night . |
