Bucharest is most beautiful during spring and fall. You will find the streets of Bucharest bustling with tourists and locals during these times. Mild, pleasant weather with a soothing sun make this a perfect time to explore this interesting city. Avoid the hot summer months of May, June, July and August. The city experiences frequent power cuts and the heat makes it difficult to explore. If you are only using Bucharest as a transit point and actually can’t wait to swing into some high paced action in the Carpathians, go during the winter months to the Sinaia and Poiana Brasov ski resorts. For those headed out to the Black Coast or the Roman Riviera, mid May to late September is ideal.
