Kiev is still not completely geared to accommodate a widely varied range of tourists, and most of the accommodation in the city continues to be designed for the business traveller. Which does not necessarily translate into luxury, but definitely means steep tariffs. Kiev has a number of hotels which are fairly comfortable, such as the Dnipro, the Bratislava, the Moskva and the Kyivska Rus. For those on smaller budgets, a good alternative to big hotels are the private apartments which are hired out by travel agencies. They come fully furnished, and are much cheaper than a hotel, although you’ll have to get your own food. Kiev also has a campsite, at 31 Brovarske Shosse, as well as a tourist complex, where accommodation is relatively low-priced. |
