If you’re keen on outdoor activity, Kiev’s parks are good for a brisk stroll, but for more strenuous activity you’ll probably have to head for Hydropark. Spread over 900 hectares, Hydropark is a riverside park along the banks of the Dnieper river, with facilities for swimming, sailing, tennis, volleyball and badminton.

If you’re quite content with being a spectator, Kiev has a lot to offer. The people of this city are fond of sports, and basketball, hand ball, soccer and gymnastics are just some of the sports which are hosted regularly in Kiev’s stadiums.
